Day 27: Thailand's Highest Peak

Another fantastic touring day to the highest point in Thailand - Doi Inthanon. We started at 350 m elevation and 32 degrees and ended at 2565 m and 13 degrees - it was refreshing chilly at the top for the Canadians. ;) There was a bike race in progress as we ascended and the fastest time up was 1 hr 30 min, which seemed remarkable considering the conditions and elevation change. Another great Thai dinner to finish at STIK tours pick of the day.
