Hey Spencer, Thanks for looking at the blog. If you know a little about Google earth it is not hard. Here is a Tutorial: http://earth.google.com/outreach/tutorial_kmlembed.html
The only limitation is that I host the divesite.kml file on my own web space.
The location data came from many sources: http://wannadive.net/ was the best source. Once you create your own profile and select your sites you can export it to a *.kml file.
Cool Stuff. I like how you marked your dive sites on google earth. Was that tough to figure out?
